September 2009 - Athletes of the month
Tumbling: Jennifer Harrison
Jennifer had an amazing month of September! She improved and perfect many of her current skills and also learned a few new ones which she hope can be incorporated into her passes this season! Way to go Jen
Trampoline: Victoria Ivankovic
Victoria has been part of the trampoline program for just over 6 months now. She is showing constant improvements in all aspects of sport: fitness, skills and leadership. She is perfecting the Level C routines and working on Level B Skills! Great job

Congratulations Kevin
B.G.'s own Kevin Lytwyn competed yesterday at his 1st ever World Championships in London, England. He represented Canada on the parallel bars where he delivered a strong routine which scored a 14.350! That placed him 32 out of 127!

2009 was a great season for the Burlington B.G.'s Trampoline and Double Mini Program. We earned a lot of hardware and achieved many new personal best!
The coaching staff sat down at the end of August and decided to implement some year end recognition awards. Categories were decided and their definitions were created. Here are the results.

Biggest Jump in Difficulty:
The biggest climbers on the B.G.'s difficulty chart over the past season. The total is based on their highest optional routine total from one event:
National: Coleman Ladouceur
Provincial: Ken Robertson
DMT: Sean Robertson
Sportsmanship:
This title is awarded to athletes who are always aware of their teammates progress and development and make a conscious effort to cheer them on in their pursuit of self improvement.
National: Michelle Blanchard
Provincial: Jacob Moore
DMT: Anisa Pacheco
Most Improved:
This title is awarded to athletes who have shown the greatest amount of improvement in the gym. It is inclusive to skills, physical abilities and psychological abilities such as maturity and focus.

Competitor of the year:
This title is awarded to athletes who seemed to have a competitive edge and managed to avoid being affected by competition stress and pressures to consistently deliver top quality personal results.

10:30-12:30pm = Ken's trampoline groups (boys and girls)
1:30-3:30pm = Jess trampoline groups (older and younger)

The facility is closed, no evening training.

B.G.'s Competitive Attire
Hi Everyone!
The time to get our B.G.'s gear is creeping up on us. In order to facilitate the process for all involved, we would like every athlete to try on their uniforms from last season to make sure they fit. If something does not fit, please notify me immediately via email.

- body suit- shorts/longs- track suit
